Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the United States. Her best-known role is Skyler White in the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. The theatre studies she pursued were in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was taken in the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career in Chicago and worked in theater parts for a number of years. Then she moved to Hollywood where she started acting in films and TV shows. Anna received her breakthrough in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. She continued to appear as an actor in few TV movies and shows like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's, when she was cast in a recurring role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. In 2000, she was given the role of Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008, she was picked as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully, the Deadwood film and other films also featured her. Gunn was on stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn was a part of a four-part audio-play show known as "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final demise mirror the last few decades that were the life of Walter White.
