Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has been leaving an imprint on the tiny screen. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother and an Irish mother and a Mexican father, in Columbus Ohio. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas where she pursued the field of physical therapy within the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas before relocating to Florida, Orlando. There she played various roles ranging in local independent films as well as world-wide commercials. Her passion for acting quickly grew to perform even in small role. After moving from New York and in 2001 she scored her first part in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. There were minor roles in JAG: Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004, she was offered her first role in a major series on the short-lived drama The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to star alongside some top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. The character she played earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in the drama series. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time later. She was Marisol Deko in the role of spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. The show was canceled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are a Italian father and one sister Cory which is a years older than her. Her family was a very traditional and spiritual one. Milano was just seven years old when her babysitter took Milano to a talent show. Four girls were selected out of more than 1000 hopefuls. Milano appeared on the television in commercials and off Broadway productions, including a musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
