Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, often referred to as Ashanti was born on 13 October on the 13th of October, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and actress. The talent of Ashanti was discovered as a teen. She signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. That same year, she was included on The Fat Joe's What's Luv? Ja Rule's single, Always On Time as well as Fat Joe's What's luv? Tina Douglas, her mother, is a retired dance teacher. Ken-Kaide Douglas is her father. The younger Kenashia is Tia Douglas. Hey Baby, After the Club (released on radio and digital) dropped on the 16th of October, 2008. The actress has appeared in the movies Christmas in the City as in Army Wives. Aitch, one of the British musician, sampled her track Rock wit U for Baby on 10 March 2022.
